About This Pipe

Stokkebye pipes were made by Jorgen Larsen and are a bit of a rarity in and of themselves. Larsen developed a lung condition which was aggravated by inhalation of briar dust. Peter Stokkebye so treasured Larsen as a pipe maker, he set him up in a clean room which eliminated the vast majority of the dust, and kept Larsen's production down to just a couple of pipe's a week. As scarce of Stokkebyes are, anything above a "C" grade is scarcer. This "B" features a grain that I would place on par with some "A"'s that I have encountered.
