About This Pipe

Beautiful grain rises up on all sides of this bowl, with expected feathering toward the rim due to being round. The apple shape is very complementary of this pattern, and the cause for it. Sometimes things just look 'right' together, and adding a band of sterling silver between the two makes for the metaphorical 'cherry on top'. While it comes in a fitted case, I'm not sure if the stem was bent by a customer, or Bill simply used a case for a meerschaum straight apple because it fit rather well.
