About This Pipe
The Transition era from Barling is something of a mixed bag. Some were still from the older wood, or were even shapes cut earlier in the life of the company, and some weren't so good. This piece falls somewhere in between, actually, with some aspects reminding me of older Barlings (the blast, the shape of the shank), while others (the stem) aren't quite as top notch as earlier pieces would have been. Still, the Transition pieces are very high quality and represent good value for the money.
