For a pipemaker known for wasp-waisted transitions and often compact shapes as well, this big, broad, voluptuous bent Egg makes for quite an interesting outlier. As substantial as it may be, he's kept the design tightly-knit and energetic; simultaneously both muscular and shapely, and beautifully smooth all around, along of course with Wolfgang Becker's usual esteemed level of fit, finish, and engineering. From a practical standpoint, the shaping is very pleasing in hand; full, curvaceous, and presenting no little amount of enjoyable heft, while the chamber is, as you might well expect, extra-deep.
