About This Pipe

The pipe before you differs a good deal from the usual Mastro de Paja bent billiard presentations. For starters, this pipe is smooth, and Mastro has a great tendency to rusticate bent billiards, and if it isn't rusticated, it's usually sandblasted. Next, while the shaping is clearly Italian, it really is more evocative of the Northern Italian school, not Pesaro, where Mastro is located. The straight grain on the right of this bowl is so good, that it is giving me shivers.
