About This Pipe
While I can only speak to my personal experience, seeing a straight bulldog from Luigi Viprati is a pretty rare occurrence (this is only my second). The shape is has more than just a hint of sophistication, with the bowl subtly canted to the fore, and the backward rake of the shank and bit forming a kind of visual contrail. Whether the surface is smooth or sandblasted, there is a fine grain awaiting your eye.
