About This Pipe
The smooth and gentle flow of this Don Carlos rhodesian is deftly contrasted by the forthright transition (unusual in such a theme) which accentuates the upright posture of the deep, high-beaded bowl. It's all, of course, in that meeting between the rear face of the tapered bowl and the broad curve of the shank's upper surface, and the way it contrasts with the continuous line formed by the underside and forward face of the bowl.
