About This Pipe

The Blatter family began making pipes in London in the late 1890's, then moved to South Africa before a final move to Montreal in 1907. This Blatter pipe is shaped by hand, and the artist that was assigned this pipe certainly knew what he was doing. While the bit work is pretty so-so, the shape and grain are outstanding.
