About This Pipe
Unusually, yet also very aptly named, this "Speeding Brandy" by Jeff Gracik does indeed appear to be in quite a hurry. The plump, yet dynamically poised bowl, the long, smooth, muscular curve of the underside, and the deep, powerful roll of the shank and transition all combine to create a design that's positively bursting with a sense of energy and eager momentum. As if shaping alone weren't enough, Jeff furthermore arranged the briar so that its lush, rich flame grain appears to be hurling itself forward across either flank.
