About This Pipe
Leave it to the young phenom, Max Rimensi, to create a volcano that utterly appeals to me. When I say "this pipe rocks", I mean that on a myriad of levels. Max carved a fine rocker base, and one stable enough that it would take an act of malice (or at least one huge blond moment) in order to tip it over. Next, this pipe sits within a beautiful, rocking equilibrium; a balance that studiously avoids a shaping so effusive, that "what was he thinking?!" is the first thing that pops into my head, while not being so conservative that I would feel a bit lame calling it a volcano. Finally, this pipe just "rocks" (in the vernacular kind of way). Great stuff!
