About This Pipe
For reasons that are beyond my kin, Tsuge of Japan has ceased stamping a grade on their newer Ikebana pipes. For those of you who gain a sense of comfort from having a pipe graded (your describer raises his hand) the pricing of this Volcano would be a "H", and the grain would support that. Is an "H" grade rare? Out of the hundreds of Ikebana pipes that we have carried, over the years, the two H grade pipes that we just received *doubles* the amount that we have ever had for public sale. This volcano shows the characteristic Tsuge conservative approach to the organic composition, and a thesaurus would not contain enough superlatives to describe the grain.
