I've been smoking pipe since 2004 almost, in that time there was no many choices for me around, only Captain Black and rare Borkum Riff chery, during a trip in Turkey duty free , I saw a Mac Baren on the shield, i said let me try it, it was Scottish Blend, ... This tobacco has great flavor, that is to say the Virginia and Burley. I don't really taste any vanilla while smoking. The blend has great flavor, just not much vanilla. The room note on the other hand has a subtle sweet vanilla scent. I can even smell the vanilla in my mustache.

All in all, I do recommend this blend. I had higher hopes for more vanilla but I am by no means disappointed...Read More

I don't smoke aromatics much but when one is order...like when womenfolk are around or I am just in the mood for it, this is a great blend to smoke. It's not so much the vanilla flavor I like but rather the creamy mouth feel...it is really really creamy. How they achieve this without it being wet and goopy I don't know but it burns great and doesn't leave a mess. When I'm done, a nice pleasant flavor lingers for hours. Tempting tin aroma,natural vanilla taste.Should be smoked cool to avoid tongue bite.
Burns slower.I'm a strong fan of Mac Baren Vanilla Flake, but that one is not available.
