n, what a difference. It mellowed out and turned into this sweet, smooth Virginia flake that’s nicer than my grandma’s compliments.
The stuff burns clean, hits you with that hay-and-bread vibe, and has just enough tang to remind you it’s real tobacco, not some fruit salad. Even us tadpoles can get through a bowl without looking like total amateurs.
Veterans, if you’re tired of your usual Virginia trying to murder you halfway through, give this one a spin. Would absolutely let it open another night… and probably several after that.

After All My Experimentation, I May End Up Mostly Just Smoking This

-bodied, with a smoky undertone. This is made from really excellent sun-sweetened leaf and has been prepared masterfully.
I recommend a corn cob pipe without filter for the wide open 6mm bore, and don't puff on it after it's lit. Just let the smoke drift up into your mouth. Slow and gentle gives sweet and rich. The palm-roll filling method works great for me with this broken flake. If you handle it correctly, this is an excellent all-day smoke. I'm going to make a habit of aging this one....Read More
