All Pipes Considered: Peterson Pub Pipes
In today's episode of All Pipes Considered, I am proud to share the latest addition to Peterson's illustrious portfolio — the Pub pipe line expands with two straight shapes in a variety of signature finishes, out now.

Peterson is one of my favorite pipe brands, with a longstanding, 160 year history. Peterson's Pub pipe series occupies a really special place in the range. The marque has always offered oversized pipes, dating as far back as the 1896 catalog. The Pub pipe was originally introduced in 2019, and it kept up with the oversized theme, but not quite as full blown as the iconic House pipe.
Pub pipes are large and bold pipes, rendered in classic shapes, and are designed with deep chambers long enough for one or two bowls at a pub, so you can get through one or two pints with your friends out at a pub with these special designs.
Of course, with 2025 being the 160th anniversary of the Peterson factory, the team over in Dublin, Ireland, decided to add a couple new shapes to the line, and expand the finishes a little bit.
We've got two really awesome straight shapes. What's really interesting about these is that, while most of the Pub pipe series do feature System engineering, since these are straight, they'll be classically drilled. However, you'll still get that signature Peterson feel, both in terms of the house style and the overall proportions, as well as the signature P-Lip mouthpiece.
We have an oversized straight Billiard shape as well as a Dublin. There's not a lot of straight Dublins in the Peterson catalog, so it was really cool to see this oversized version come to light in the Pub pipe line.
As for the finishes, you'll find a lot of iconic, signature finishes from Peterson in this line. We have the sandblasted, the rusticated, and there might be a couple other surprises in there as well as time goes on. Terracotta, for example.
I think these are a great expansion to the Pub line. If you've always wanted to try a Pub pipe but you're more of a straight pipe smoker, this is a great chance to get into them. Be sure to check them out on-site now. Leave us a comment and let us know what your favorite shape and finish in the new expansion is.

I need a Dublin Pub Pipe in a smooth light finish with a double beaded sterling silver band. Make it with a hefty tapered stem, with an inlaid aluminum โPโ logo please. To make it even more enticing, the icing on the cake would be a sterling silver rim, or even better, a sterling silver wind-cap. Heck, might as well make it a sterling spigot too๐๐๐ผ
Ooh! If we're custom ordering, I really need a Pub Billiard in the Cobblestone finish with an acrylic fishtail stem, silver or nickel band (doesn't matter), and a Pub Dublin with a sandblasted finish with an acrylic fishtail stem... sterling or nickel band. I would prefer the band to be an acrylic green, white, and orange Irish flag representation...but like Mick Jagger said "You can't always get what you want...๐ถ"
My psychic abilities saw the tri-colored band making a return, I just wish it was on the cobble finish, in the Sherlock Holmes line or the new pub pipe shapes, and with acrylic stems. I just wish I could foresee the winning Powerball numbers and date, then I could fly to Ireland and submit a customized request. Free Guinness for everyone ๐
Why not put one in the hand so we can see just how large they are?
