Mystery Cigar Review: July 2020
Welcome back to the Mystery Cigar Review, a stogie-focused spin-off series of our popular Mystery Tobacco Reviews. For those unfamiliar, the idea is fairly simple: Each month, one of our cigar gurus selects one cigar for our panel to review in a blind taste-test. All packaging and bands are removed, which means the guys have to trust their eyes, nose, and palates to guess which cigar they're smoking. This month, Tyler Caldwell, our resident cigar maestro and retail associate at our brick & mortar store, sat in the Inquisitor's Chair, selecting one unknown cigar for the Tim, Truett, and me to review. Did Tyler throw us a fast one, or did our trained palates win out. Watch the full review to find out.
What did you think of the review? Did you guess it right? Don't forget to share your thoughts in the comments below.
Just a quick note. We'd like to thank you again for your continued support and patience as we attempt to bring you our regularly scheduled programming while still observing proper social distancing measures. We greatly appreciate your understanding. Thanks for sticking with us.
What is The Mystery Cigar Review?
For those of you unfamiliar with this little game, each month one member of our team selects a cigar for us to review in a blind taste-test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious cigar's wrapper, filler, origins, and name. There's only one rule: There are no rules.
