Mystery Cigar Review: November 2021

Welcome back to another episode of the Mystery Cigar Review! For this month's installment, we were privileged to host another very special guest Inquisitor: one of the founders of RoMa Craft cigars, Mr. Mike Rosales! Founded by Rosales and Skip Martin in 2012, RoMa Craft is a heavy hitter in the world of premium cigars, offering a variety of excellent blends crafted from the finest leaf available, and carefully blended and hand-rolled to suit a range of tastes and preferences. Unlike many other boutique brands, RoMa Craft actually owns their own tobacco factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, where their passionate team produces the popular Intemperance, CroMagnon, and Aquitaine lines under the supervision of the extremely talented Esteban Disla.

Could Mike have sent one of his popular lines in disguise? Or did he blend up something special just to stump us? Tune in as Shane, Truett, Tyler, and Tim smoke through Mike's chosen cigar in a blind taste-test and attempt to guess its binder, filler, and wrapper — they also might attempt to guess the Superbowl winner, but don't quote them on that. Did they get it right? Or did Mike send them dragging their knuckles back to the age of Neanderthals (see what we did there)?

What is The Mystery Cigar Review?

For those of you unfamiliar with this little game, each month one member of our team selects a cigar for us to review in a blind taste-test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious cigar's wrapper, filler, origins, and name. There's only one rule: There are no rules.
