Mystery Review: October 2019
Welcome back to another episode of The Mystery Tobacco Review, the most exciting blind taste-testing (and occasionally test-tasting) game you've never heard of. Still riding an adrenaline high after winning a caterpillar race at the recent Woolly Worm Festival (no, that's not a euphemism; it's a real festival, and yes, they actually race woolly worms), Truett Smith embraced the cooler weather and chose an English blend for us to blind review this month. Join Shane, Mike, and me as we smoke through a bowl of this mysterious English, make observations on components, flavor, and room note, solve moral dilemmas, and eventually make our guesses. Did we win a race of our own? Or did Truett stump us all with a ringer? Tune in to find out.
What is Mystery Review?
For those of you unfamiliar with this little game, each month one member of our team selects a tobacco for us to review in a blind taste-test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious mixture's components, origins, and name. There's only one rule: There are no rules.
