Welcome back to the Mystery Tobacco Review! You know the drill: We're back at it again with another blind taste test of an unknown pipe tobacco blend — this time a smoky English mixture chosen by our very own Steve Mawby. Our Customer Service Manager here at Smokingpipes, Steve has sat in the Inquisitor's Chair a couple of times now, and he's done pretty well at tricking our palates on several occasions, particularly with blends he thinks we've never smoked before. But this isn't our first rodeo and, despite what he says, Steve can't watch us all the time! So tune in as Truett, Shane, and I smoke through a bowl of Steve's chosen mixture and attempt to guess its name and manufacturer. Did he stump us again with a hidden sleeper? What is The Mystery Tobacco Review?
For those of you unfamiliar with this little game, each month one member of our team selects a tobacco for us to review in a blind taste-test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious mixture's components, origins, and name. There's only one rule: There are no rules.
