Welcome to another riveting installment of the Mystery Tobacco Review, a monthly series in which our panel of experts tries to identify a tobacco submitted to outwit and surprise them. This month sees the return of our own Steve Mawby as Inquisitor. Steve is our Customer Service Manager and possesses the deep tobacco knowledge necessary for helping customers who are looking for tobaccos to fit their own unique taste preferences. He is expert at identifying tobaccos even when the name is not known and only a few of the ingredients can be listed, and he has leveraged that vast knowledge in the pursuit of challenging Truett, Andy, Alan and me. Will his choice this month be beyond our abilities, or will we uncover the mystery and triumphantly prevail? The conclusion reveals all, so watch to the end!
What is The Mystery Tobacco Review?
For those unfamiliar with this little game, each month one member of our team — or sometimes an honored guest Inquisitor — selects a tobacco for us to review in a blind taste-test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious mixture's components, origins, and, when we're lucky, its name. There's only one rule: There are no rules.
