Mystery Tobacco Review: July 2020

Welcome back to another episode of the Mystery Tobacco Review, the friendly game of "Guess Who" that leaves even our most experienced pipe smokers questioning their skills (and life choices). This month, we decided to shake things up and have our Cigar Specialist Tim Vanderpool select one pipe tobacco for us to blind review. Tim's served as Inquisitor a few times now for our Mystery Cigar Reviews, but it was his first time hosting our Tobacco Reviews. Did he come out swinging like a crazed brawler? Or did our seasoned palates coolly win out? Watch the full video to find out.

Did you enjoy this month's review? Did you guess it right? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below!

Just a quick note. We'd like to thank you again for your continued support and patience as we attempt to bring you our regularly scheduled programming while still observing proper social distancing measures. We greatly appreciate your understanding. Thanks for sticking with us.

What is The Mystery Tobacco Review?

For those of you unfamiliar with this little game, each month one member of our team selects a tobacco for us to review in a blind taste-test. Then we gather around the camera, scratch our heads, and smoke, all while attempting to guess the mysterious mixture's components, origins, and name. There's only one rule: There are no rules.

    • I have to give thanks to our own Kaz for helping me out with the aged tin.

    • Enjoy these reviews. And I'm a fan of the corona version format. I think it adds to it rather than take away. I'd love to know what kind of lighters you guys have.
