Though the view out the window may say differently, our trusty calendar marks today as the first day of spring, and in these parts that can only mean one thing — our annual Spring Showdown. With almost nightly freezes down here in SC, and a nor'easter bearing down on our neighbors to the north, we're having a little trouble getting into the spring state of mind though. So for 2018 we decided to do things slightly differently and open it up to let you decide who both the entrants and the winners should be.
Last weekend we reached out on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to ask you to give us your top blends, and boy, did you deliver, with 193 nominations spread across 100 different blends. We took those nominations, tabulated the results, and fed the top eight blends into a randomiser. And before you ask, we absolutely debated the merits of the high seed/low seed system, but ultimately figured a random bracket would result in some more interesting match ups, and, let's be honest, we're a little bit evil and like watching you guys squirm. Here's how that turned out:

Why would you guys include Dunhill when it's no longer in production at this time? That's the part that makes me squirm... ugh
@Hassan We talked about it, and decided that being we have plenty of stock and don't look like we'll be running short anytime soon, we're confident in allowing it's inclusion.
I am happy to see that four of the eight choices are Tonaccos that I smoke .
