Tasting Notes - Cornell & Diehl - Small Batch Sansepolcro
For the latest installment in their Small Batch line, the blending boffins at Cornell & Diehl have taken Italian dark fired florets, trimmed from Italian cigars, and made something truly special — Sansepolcro, a true merging of the Old World and the New.
The dark-fired Kentucky in these florets offers spicy, earthy, and clove-like undertones, rounded out nicely by citrusy, bready sweetness from the Virginias. For today's tasting notes, Shane gives us his impression of the blend — which finds its way onto our shelves tomorrow
