Pyramid Lamp

To say that this mesmerizing study of minimalism in porcelain, is a "newer entry for Lampe Berger", would be an understatement. Many dedicated Berger houses still show this model in a "pre-sale only" status, and are asking considerably more for this Lampe than you see to your right.

There is something about the pyramid form that seems to have always existed in the collective unconscious of man. The fact that the shape is the most stable manner upon which to erect a grand edifice, doesn't account for an ancient presence that ranges from the 5000 year old structures of Brazil, to the Pyramids of Western China, Central America, and (of course) Egypt.

And yet, as this splendid Lampe Berger testifies, the shape loses none of it's allure, in the modernity. Robed in a subdued obsidian, the Berger Pyramid is considered one of the company's most masculine presentations, and would look unobtrusively at home within most any setting or decor.
