Diamond Crown MAXIMUS is the supreme achievement of 3 legendary cigar families the Stanford Newman family, the Carlos Fuente family and the John Oliva family.
In 1991, to help celebrate his companys upcoming 100th anniversary, Stanford Newman challenged Carlos Fuente Jr. to develop a truly extraordinary selection of smooth and flavorful cigars. Using a double-fermented five year old Connecticut Wrapper and a special blend of five year old Dominican Cuban Seed filler, Diamond Crown cigars were born.
A decade later, Stanford again challenged Carlos Jr. to create an exceptionally rich, fuller flavored complement to Diamond Crown cigar. Maximus is their crowning achievement.
Carlitos secret blend of specially aged Dominican filler tobaccos combined with the special Ecuadorian tobacco wrapper exclusively grown on the El Bajo region of Olivas Ecuador plantation, gives Diamond Crown Maximus its unique, remarkably smooth full-bodied flavor.
