Sleek and playful, this shape is a whimsical homage to the grand leviathan. This pipe has no shank, per se, but a wonderfully elongated stem that meets the body somewhat similar to an army mount. The bowl is undeniably huge (it is a whale, after all) and has a wonderfully graceful transition from body to fluke. The cross grain and birdseye that Lasse coaxed out of this piece are simply stellar.
