About This Pipe

Bjarne Thurmann is a Danish carver that prides himself on always allowing the grain of the pipe dictate how the carving will proceed. This, in turn, leads to many a spectacular, one of a kind freehands, as well as intriguing takes on conventional shapes. This Thurmann freehand in particular boasts a righteous straight grain on the majority of the bowl, only washing a tad on the rear panel. Crowned with plateau on the rim and mount, this pipe would be a terrific addition for the freehand enthusiast.
