About This Pipe
This is something very different for Kurt. Well "different" isn't exactly right, "rare" would be better. I have handled a lot of Kurt's work since 2000, and this is only the second horn that I have personally encountered. The rim is softly domed and holds a right smart cross cut grain. That cross cut continues on the front and back of the bowl, and is flanked by a dense and well defined birdseye.
