About This Pipe

Any Dunhill that ain't a quaint, is going to be a standard shape. Sometimes a pit developed while finishing, so the shape was altered to something utterly unique. This paneled shape reminds me more of the work of Bill Taylor than anyone else. There is a bit of a bulge in the shank, like a heavy powder charge in a flintlock, but it's all about the design. The original stem was either broken or lost years ago, and there is an excellent Jim Cooke hand-cut replacement on the pipe today.
