About This Pipe
The famous "5103". While hardly a statistical certainty, the 5103 seems to be the shape of choice for almost all of the high end Dunhill Boxed Collectible editions. This does make a certain degree of sense; surely it is one of the most classic of shapes and one of the easiest to add adornment. Having made that personal observation, almost all of those specially adorned 5103s come as Shell Briars, and really never as Amber Root Briars. I guess with finish and grain this nice, any adornment would be superfluous!
