About This Pipe

This group 4 has a really beautiful mix of birdseye on the right side, straight grain on the left, and angled on the front. The bruyere stain brings out the best in the grain, by making them stand out enough, but still retaining a uniform color. Contrasting on such a pattern would look weird, to say the least. Made toward the end of the patent era, this is a good, aged, piece of history.
