About This Pipe
The James Upshall company has been around since 1978, taking the name from a relative that enjoyed smoking and fine things. Since it's beginning, all Upshall pipes have been made with great detail, free of all flaws and fills. True to their grading system, this 5(group size), grade-S is a stunning example of what can be achieved with patience and practice. There are slight characteristics that make this recognizable, without peeking at the stamp, and the stain, slight taper of the bowl, and stem all play equal rolls. Perhaps it's time you tried an Upshall?
