About This Pipe

Frank Axmacher first hit the American scene when he attended his first Chicago pipe show in 2007. (I'm sure it was either 2007, or 2008). He spent some time in Tom Eltang's shop and picked up a great deal of information. There was a lot of buzz about a special piece he made, and people were amazed with everything. To call this an egg would imply that some sort of bird has a very high endurance for pain, with all of the points and what-nots. As a sculptural briar, it shows a lot of skill and illusion.
