About This Pipe
While the fact that this pipe comes downright close to matching the quality of birdseye that I normally associate with an Occio di Pernice is amazing enough, the actual presentation/form of the birdseye is a wonder unto itself. Take a look at the left of the bowl. What I see is a startlingly dense, almost "leopard-spot" character to the birdseye. The crosscut grain that runs along the underside of the shank is tighter than a riff by Stevie Ray Vaughn.
