About This Pipe
Usually, when it comes to accurately dating a Peterson pipe, if the pipe comes with no hall marked silver, you are pretty much out of luck. However; some details can help. The forked P (which this pipe has) on the stamp can sometimes note earlier pieces, though they began doing commemorative pipes in the 1970s with this same stamp. There is a lot to be said for a company that pretty much makes pipes exactly the same way they did over 100 years ago, which is why a Peterson product will stand the test of time.
