About This Pipe

Though their most famous line, Ardor's "Giants" only make up a fraction of their production. And on top of being a Giant, this silver-banded beauty is one shaped by Dorelio Rovera himself; quite a rarity indeed. In fact, we've only ever seen one other example of this combination, new or estate, and it just so happens to appear in this very same update. The flame grain dressing the flanks of bowl and shank is quite fine, as you can see, but the real prize, to my eye at least, is the vast field of birdseye covering the underside. And while the shank of this smooth-lined, voluptuous number might weigh more than a lesser briar, the unabashedly generous curvaceousness of the bowl keeps this Ardor well-balanced as a sitter.
