About This Pipe
Exceptional straight and flame grain radiates from the center bottom of the bowl on this beautifully shaped rhodesian. That great grain terminates into tight, delicate birdseye on the rim. The shape is pure Italian; the proportions of the areas above and below the double beading give it a delightful neo-classical flair (a classic English shape would have a 2:1 ratio of height below versus above the beading, most likely, whereas this piece is about 4:1).
