About This Pipe

There are times that Castellos can seem to have more exceptions to grading constructs than English has to its grammar. The number of Ks on a non-smooth pipe refer to size, and on a smooth, they refer to grain quality, correct? Not necessarily. The Trademark has always been something of a hybrid, regarding matters of grading. If a smooth pipe is judged as on the small side within a given batch, but presents what we would normally think of as a very solid, Castello Grade grain, it might well wind up as a Trademark. Looking at the decidedly "above basic" grain of this beauty, I can come up with no other reasoning for the grade stamp.
