About This Pipe

"In the Beginning.", Caminetto was formed by Gigi Radice, Pepino Ascorti, and their friend and marketer, Gianni Davoli. The very name Caminetto (little fireplace/chimney) came from Davoli, and legend holds that the corporate symbol, the mustache, was arrived at after a night of imbibing at Davoli's and was based on the luxurious mustaches sported by Gigi & Pepino. Later, Davoli actually grew one himself (corporate identity reasons). This Caminetto wears the highly sought "Ascorti-Radice" stamp of the early years, and sports some painfully pretty grain. This is quite the collectible.
