About This Pipe
This unsmoked Perla Nera is a fascinating take on Castello's shape 31 ("1/4 bent oval shank canadian"). Originally, the Perla Nera never displayed a "K" Grading at all, and the shapes were limited to about three or four choices. But, as you can see in this unsmoked 2007 production, the "K is now in play", and shaping has relaxed a tad, though still highly limited, when compared to other lines.
