About This Pipe
This freehand dublin from Luigi Viprati is quite a bit different from most of his presentations, in fact, it actually looks like a more conservative execution of a form that was popular in the Lane-era Charatans. The first tier of the bowl is classic dublin, and sports a superlative straight grain. The initial shapes collapses a bit suggesting the start of a rim, only to reform and dome with a handsome flame grain.
