About This Pipe
Store sale 11/18/2010
Tonino Jacono started working with briar in 1981, and progressed at such a startling pace as a pipe maker, that he started to produce pipes under his own name by 1983. Each pipe is a one at a time project, and the carver grades his pipes along the lines of the respective value of chess pieces (Rook, Knight, etc). Though Tonino does all of his work in Jesi, Italy (east coast, roughly equidistant between Bologna and Rome), this bent billiard seems supercharged with a Northern Italian spirit.
