Claudio Cavicchi Smooth Bent Dublin (CCC) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Claudio Cavicchi grades his pipes with "C's". The more "C's" the higher the grade. Given that his first and last name both begin with a "C", does make a certain amount of sense, no? This dapper dublin is graded a "CCC", which is pretty well in keeping with the grain I am seeing (overwhelmingly straight, with just a touch of diffuse flame on the back of the bowl). When working, I really appreciate a deep bend in a pipe, just much easier to hold in the jaw. Still the steeper the bend, the tougher it is to get a pipe cleaner through (without breaking down when warm, a very bad idea, at best). Have no fear, with this one. It is a Cavicchi, and just passed an in-office pipe cleaner test.
