About This Pipe
The unsmoked Moretti is a beautiful blend of heavy, straight shank, softly curved bowl, and high, rugged plateau. The contrast between shank and bowl is muted by a fluid transition, while, conversely, that of the rim and bowl is left sharp and clearly defined. This itself makes for a sort of contrast-of-contrasts. or possibly just exceedingly pretentious description writing.
