About This Pipe
Castello is well known for being playful with shank caps. Sometimes they are made from acrylic, but this one is a nice piece of briar (not from the same block - it's darker). Shaping like this, without countersinking the stem, means that the tenon is visible while puffing, but that doesn't take away from the shape one bit.
