About This Pipe
This is the first time I've seen such a long-stemmed Castello, and frankly it makes me wish I'd seen more. While typically you'd expect such a configuration, when well executed, to bring to mind words like "gentle" or "supple", this Castello's lengthy stem has a certain firmness and strength about it. The stem's curve is certainly broad, yet it carries with it a sense of solidity, and the taper of the shank and depth of the transition act as solid visual anchors.
