About This Pipe
It's the English who are best known for their deep and craggy sandblasts, while the Italians are noted for a tendency towards particularly sharp or rugged-textured styles of rustication. However, there are always outliers, and this Castello Old Antiquari is one of them - a classic Castello straight Dublin, with its firm heel, elegantly tapered shank, and characteristic bowl shaping, yet sporting a wild sandblasted ring grain that would give many an Ashton a run for their money. Paired with a perfectly smooth, polished, and birdseye-speckled rim, the result is a charming contrast.
