Castello Tobacco Pipe

The neoclassical style, with its penchant for extra-large bowl's, is not the easiest approach when you want to keep a pipe's profile well-balanced. The simple, brute-force answer would simply be to make the shank and stem extra-stout as well, but Castello has other means up their sleeves, too. You can see that clearly enough in this straight Billiard, which despite sporting a generous bowl and a slim, streamlined style of shank and stem, still keeps a perfectly natural balance, thanks largely due to the manner in which both the transition and the taper have been rendered.
