About This Pipe

The first time I saw this young former Muscovite's work I knew the man would be hot and, for the past three years or so, the level of Alex Florov's art(and prices) have risen within my expectations. Alex's eye for detail and scale serves him well in both his more rococo-esque work, as with his clean line, lesser adorned compositions, such as this incredible Elephant Grade elephant's foot. Take a gander at that slick line that runs from the back of the bowl, along the top of the shank. what other bit could complete that line to such perfection? The birdseye of the front panel is astonishing, and the crosscut grain of the sides is heavenly.
