About This Pipe

When I first saw this Steve Weiner brandy, I assumed it was his later work. To my mind, Steve's work in the 2000's showed a greater deftness of shape, as a general rule. Well "general rule" is a key, for this pipe was carved by Steve in 1997, and is as advanced as any I have seen from him. The composition is set off quite nicely by a white acrylic bit, a lovely, smooth counterpoint to the masculine rustication.
