About This Pipe
In its sandblasted form, the Brigham traditional number "47" Dublin shape really slims down, it would seem, producing a much lighter silhouette than its smooth-finished or rusticated equivalents. Playfully named after the traditional term for the wind which can turn the eastern Rockies from deep winter into mild summer weather without warning, the Chinook finish features a light-textured sandblast perfect for retaining a design's clean lines, and a deep black finish to accentuate them. As with all Brigham pipes they also feature the Rock Maple Inserts, to wick away both condensation and the oils and tars which can cause "tongue bite", leaving only a cool, dry smoke.
